Applications
High-temperature structural steel: Collectors, water boiler and
superheater tubes (530oC).

Soft Annealing
Heat to 680-720oC, cool slowly in furnace.
Hardening
Harden from a temperature of 910-940oC followed by oil or air quenching.
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 650-720oC.
