Continuous Cooling Transformation (CCT) Diagram Click the image to enlarge the diagram. Soft Annealing Heat to 650-700^oC, cool slowly. This will produce a maximum Brinell hardness of 207. Hardening Harden from a temperature of 820-850^oC, 830-860^oC followed by water or oil quenching. Normalizing Normalizing temperature (^oC): 840-870^oC.
